The Waiting Families located on the YCA website are ministry partners of the CAA. Ministry parters are vetted by one of our partnering agencies or they can apply separately through the CAA website. To apply as a waiting family ministry partner ready to serve and support expecting mothers, you must be in alignment with our statements of belief. You can find each of the statements below:

The Statement of Final Authority represents the organizations submission to the interpretation of scripture and understanding of the Statement of Faith, the Statement of Gender, Sexuality, and Marriage, and the Statement of the Sanctity of Human Life.

You must also have a completed home study showing you are in good standing and approved for adoption. A PDF copy will be uploaded as part of your application process. You will also need a reference letter from your pastor attesting to your membership and involvement in the church. This letter must be on church letterhead and signed by the pastor. A PDF copy will be uploaded as part of your application.

Ministry Partners represent couples or families who have a Christian commitment to serve and support expecting mothers. They recognize that expecting mothers may be looking for a family to give to her baby and they are available to serve in the capacity and understand that an open adoption is the healthiest type of adoption for all partiers involved.
